This is the old broccoli salad with a new twist:
(serves 6)
4 cups fresh broccoli florets
1/2-3/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1 cup pomegranate arils*
1/3 cup crumbled cooked bacon
1/2 cup light* mayo
1/2 cup half and half
2-3 T. sugar (depending on taste)
In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, onion, pomegranate arils, and bacon. In a small bowl, stir together mayo, half and half, and sugar til smooth. Pour over broccoli mixture, and refrigerate until serving. I am going to make this today!!
