Pickled Eggs

I googled the recipe for these when I was thwarted in my attempt to buy some at the meat market for the SECOND time! It is easy peasy. Smells good, too.
(serves 12)

12 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
1 large empty sterilized glass jar with tight fitting lid*
4 cups white distilled vinegar
1 t. kosher* salt
2 med. sweet* onions, chopped
1/3 cup sugar
1 T. pickling spices

Put the eggs in the glass jar. Boil the remaining ingredients together for 5 min. Pour over eggs. Cover; leave on the counter overnight. Keeps in the refrigerator for weeks, in theory. In reality, if you love pickled eggs, these will disappear!!

Praise Him!!

Love,

Machete Milletti
